About us
WESMAR CONSTRUCTION, LLC specializes in custom home building in South and Central Texas. We are based in Hondo, Texas and have previously traveled over 100 miles to serve our clients. One of our specialties is to provide residential contracting services in rural areas throughout Texas. In addition, we also engage in farm and ranch development and light commercial construction. Through years of careful selection WESMAR has put together a great group of rurally based subcontracting companies that know how to complete projects located outside of the city limits. We also have great commercial subcontractors and suppliers for various light commercial projects.
Wesley Favor
Owner/Partner
Wesley is a partner with WESMAR Construction with over 10 years’ experience in general contracting. After working with Mark Matthews for 6 years in the construction business, WESMAR Construction was created in parnership with his former employer. Furthermore, Wesley works with Cuerno Grande in the ranch consulting business as well as operates his own cattle operation, Favor Cattle Company. He has both a degree in Industrial Technology and Wildlife Management from the University of Texas A&M Kingsville. Currently, Wesley lives in Hondo with his wife.

Mark Matthews
Owner/Partner
Mark is a partner with WESMAR and has over 25 years of experience in custom home building. In addition to WESMAR, Mark is a Partner with Republic Ranches, LLC as well as being co-owner in a wildlife consulting business, Cuerno Grande. Moreover, Mark has over 25 years of experience in developing, managing, and owning ranch properties. He has a degree in marketing from the University of Texas, and a Masters in Wildlife Management from Texas A&M University. Mark lives in Hondo with his wife and four daughters.
